WORLD’S WEIRDEST RESTAURANTS - Bob Blumer Pop Up Restaurant @ The Drake
A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to get to tickets with co-workers and clients to a food event at The Drake. It was for the launch of World’s Weirdest Restaurants airing on Food Network and starring Bob Blumer.
The food was based on Bob’s experiences around the world at the world’s weirdest restaurants. The pics are of the curry bowl that was served out of a toilet bowl - representing a restaurant in Taiwan, japanese fried chicken from Japan - where he was served by monkeys, we ate soup and a crabcake with blindfolds from a restaurant in NYC and the the best donuts (including maple bacon) from Voodoo Donuts in Portland. It was all so delicious - including the food served from the toilet (it was brand new).

St Patrick’s Day at The Foggy Dew
This year I went to the Foggy Dew with some of my favourite people. Because it was a Saturday we knew the festivities were going to start early. Headed over to The Foggy Dew on King Street around 2p and there was already a line up. Thankfully my friends were already inside and we worked it out. Spent the day chatting with peeps, drinking green beers and dancing to the fun fun fun band. Met some great people and ended up having the time of my life!!
